Park Board

The Pocono Township Park Board serves in an advisory capacity to support the continued improvement and enhancement of the Township's parks and recreational facilities. The Park Board is established to advise the Pocono Township Board of Commissioners and Township Manager on matters related to the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Township parks. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

  • Park equipment selection and upgrades
  • Park signage and wayfinding improvements
  • Trail enhancement and connectivity projects
  • Long-term park planning and development
  • Park event selection, planning, and coordination
  • Recommendations for recreational amenities and park improvements



The Park Board evaluates park-related needs and opportunities, gathers community input when appropriate, and provides thoughtful recommendations to Township leadership for consideration. Through collaboration, planning, and community engagement, the Park Board helps support Pocono Township's commitment to maintaining high-quality parks, recreational opportunities, and outdoor spaces for current and future generations.

First Meeting

The first Park Board meeting will be held on June 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM at 205 Old Mill Road.
