Its primary role within the Township is to serve as advisors to the Board of Commissioners. It provides recommendations on a wide variety of planning and land development related proposals, including but not limited to re-zonings, ordinance amendments, plans and studies, and land development. It is also responsible for reviewing applications for subdivisions and land developments in respect to their compliance with the Township’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance.
