ZONING HEARING

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Pocono Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday,
October 19, 2023, beginning at 6:30 P.M., at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 112
Township Drive, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the
application of Yuriy Bogutskiy for a variance from Section 470-34.A (parking requirements) of the
Pocono Township Zoning Ordinance, which requires 2.25 parking spaces or each dwelling unit in
a multifamily residential complex. The Applicant’s project involves retaining an 8-unit apartment
building and replacing the other existing uses on the property with a new building containing 12
residential units and 3 commercial units. The Applicant seeks a variance to construct 1.5 parking
spaces for each residential unit in the project.
Mr. Bogutskiy owns the subject property, which is located at 2808 – 2812 Route 611, in
Tannersville, Pocono Township, Monroe County, PA in the Commercial (C) zoning district. The
subject property is further identified as Monroe County Parcel ID No. 12.8.2.15 and Map No. 12-
6372-01-38-3292.
The complete application is available for inspection (without charge) or copying (for
actual copying costs) at the Township’s office at the address listed above from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30
p.m. Anyone may attend the hearing and those who are affected and have legal standing may
