The Pocono Township Planning Commission serves in an advisory role for the Board of Commissioners. The Commission provides recommendations on a variety of planning and land development related proposals including, but not limited to, land development plans, re-zonings, ordinance amendments and studies. Members are also responsible for reviewing applications for subdivisions and land developments in respect to their compliance with the Township’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance.
