NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TAKE NOTICE that the Pocono Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing
on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, beginning at 5:00 P.M., at the Pocono Township Municipal
Building, 112 Township Drive, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372. The purpose of the hearing is to
consider John Grossi’s appeal of the Pocono Township Zoning Officer’s September 7, 2023
Enforcement Notice, which alleges that Appellant violated the following sections of the Pocono
Township Code of Ordinances: (1) § 470-109.4 by installing multiple off-premises signs without
first obtaining a zoning permit; and (2) § 470-108.C.5 by installing off-premises signs without first
obtaining conditional use approval. Appellant contends that the Zoning Officer erred in issuing
the Enforcement Notice, and that the Code, as applied and enforced, violates Appellant’s First
Amendment rights.
This appeal relates to property owned by John Grossi, Nicholas Palermo, and Pocono Max
Properties, Inc., which is located on Camelback Road, Tannersville, PA 18372, in the Recreation
(RD) zoning district. The property is further identified as Parcel ID No. 12.16E.1.2 and Map No.
12-6363-00-03-2725.

actual copying costs) at the Township’s office at the address listed above from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30
